Selected Opulent Luxury Camps
Situated in 10 000 hectare concession area in the Kruger National Park, Hamiltons Tented Camp offers a unique private safari experience. Six magnificent canvas tents complete with teak floorboards, mosquito nets, slipper baths, and outdoor showers are linked to the main lodge by raised timber walkways amongst ancient Jackalberry trees. The guest lounge and dining area adds to the delight of this tranquil spot overlooking the Nwatsitsonto River.
Notten’s Bush Camp is situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve
and is as rustic as it is charming. This bush camp offers unique accommodation, a welcoming
atmosphere and excellent personal service. The camp, set among the
acacia bushveld, open grass plains and riverine forest of the Mpumalanga
Lowveld, has an astonishing variety of game that wanders free in exceptionally
wild surroundings.
Reminiscent of a traditional African safari camp, Kapama Buffalo Camp offers a unique and intimate experience in the African bush. It is ideal for discovering big game Africa in true safari tented style without compromising on comfort. Eight luxury canvas tents, each sleeping two, are set on wooden decks built on stilts over a steep-sided riverbank.
Washed with the warmth and color of the afternoon sun and in true African style, luxury tents overlook the magnificent bushveld. It is here that our guests while away moments relaxing and reflecting on the tranquility and intimacy afforded by this small camp.
Perfectly situated on the banks of the Kariega River, but tucked unobtrusively away into the vegetation. Adopting a low impact model, Forest Camp’s accommodation is built on expansive, slightly raised wooden decks and has long wooden walkways through pristine thicket which allow elderly and disabled guests to move around with ease. The smaller, more intimate River Camp has four tents, ideal for families with children, or for sole-use specialist groups. The luxury tents measure 25 square meters (300 square feet), are adjoined by an en-suite bathroom and accommodate two adults sharing in top-of-the-range king or twin beds, and sits under an all-weather roof. Decks offer views of the river or forest.
