Niassa Reserve, Mozambique
Niassa Game Reserve is located in Cabo Delgado Province and Niassa Province in northern Mozambique comprising an area of 42,000 km² (including buffer zones). That is approximately twice as large as Kruger National Park in South Africa. It contains, by far, the largest concentration of game in Mozambique. Along with the magnificent scenery, shear size and natural wealth, this makes Niassa Reserve one of Africa's last great wildernesses. Niassa is part of the proposed Trans-Frontier Conservation Area.
