Karoo Garden Route Tour 14 days
Introducing you to some of the most beautiful landscapes that South Africa has to offer. We'll travel along the infamous Route 62 through the Little Karoo and then onto the East Coast to Port Elizabeth before heading back to Cape Town along the Garden Route. This tour in mainly on-road, with some easy gravel road riding in the Little Karoo and into "De Hel".
West Coast / Namibia 10 days
The West Coast might not be as well known as the Garden Route but this doesn't mean that it's any less beautiful. Springtime (Aug, Sept and Oct) is particularly inspiring as the landscape blossoms in a surge of colour. This tour in mainly on-road, with some easy gravel road riding in the Cedarberge and the Northern Cape, as well as around Fish River Canon.
Around Lesotho 10 days
Landlocked by South Africa, Lesotho is flanked by the Drakensberg Mountains on its Eastern border. The mountains are known as uKhahlamba (the Barrier of Spears) - a 200-kilometre-long mountainous wonderland and world heritage site rich with relics from the Stone Age and San bushmen including 35 000 San rock art images. This 2,000 km, ten-day tour will see us circling Lesotho in a clockwise fashion, travelling through the Drakensberg and up to Sani Pass which offers breathtaking uninterrupted views of the KwaZulu Natal valleys.

Cape Town - Johannesburg 14 days
Introducing you to some of the most beautiful landscapes that South Africa has to offer. We'll travel along the infamous Route 62 through the Small Karoo, via Uniondale and Grahamstown to the Wild Coast and then along the East Coast to Durban. From Durban we head into Zululand and into the heart of the Drakensberg Mountain range before reaching the Kruger National Park riding though Pongola and Swaziland and finally arriving in Johannesburg after 14 days and 2600 miles. This tour is ideally suited to the on-road enthusiast and the ideal route to take the BMW R1200RT to the max.
Cape Town - Windhoek 14 days
The two-week trip starts in Cape Town and winds its way up our west coast to culminate in Namibia’s capital, Windhoek. With both on and off-road riding, the 2,100 miles city to city tour is an epic tribute to solitude and uninterrupted riding with out-of-this world scenery.
African Adventure 9 days
Follow the route made famous by the international launch of the BMW R1150 GS Adventure. Cross the ancient battlegrounds of Shaka, ride among the giraffes and antelope through two extraordinary game reserves, and explore the Zulu footpaths of the Makatini Flats where no other vehicle can go. And then there's the spectacular Lake Sibaya and the forests of Barberton.

Great African GS Challenge 12 days
BMW Motorrad South Africa launched its Great African GS Challenge in 2004, much to the delight of BMW motorcycle aficionados the continent over. It's not about speed - it's all about skill. The GS in the BMW motorcycle name is a German acronym for Gelaende Strasse which translates roughly to on-off road. The competition was designed to find the rider that is best able to control his GS regardless of the terrain and where better to do that than in South Africa? Participants therefore have to complete a series of challenging tests in both on and off road conditions to score points. The talented rider that comes in with the most points is awarded this prestigious title.
